Living and loving fearlessly go hand-in-hand for Chris and Brooke. Some might say it's impossible to have a stress-free wedding, but this couple absolutely nailed it! Their wedding was a whirlwind of fun, planned to take place as an excursion on a cruise ship vacation. That's right, the entire family docked in the morning, we picked them up from the port, and after their nuptials they enjoyed an evening celebration and were ferried back to their ship to enjoy the rest of their honeymoon.
No muss, no fuss, just fun and love. When we think of the concept of footloose and fancy-free, Chris and Brooke surely knew what they wanted and we were happy to provide it. Here are some tips to ensure your wedding day can be just as stress-less whether it be a destination event, or right at home:

1. Keep your hair and makeup easy breezy
They say less is more and for your cruise ship wedding it couldn't be truer. Consider makeup that gives a fresh, dewy, radiant look with just a pop of color to compliment. On choosing a hairstyle; try going with a flowy, or even tousled look and let the Caribbean breeze do the rest.

2. Go Tropical
This is such a great way to add the essence of Jamaica to your theme and also keep your floral budget super low. There’s an explosion of vibrant colors in locally grown orchids, ginger lillies, anthurium, and more. Your florals and bouquets will scream "I got married in the tropics!"

3. Let the guys be cool
For the men, comfort is key during a beach wedding. For a laid-back but crisp vibe, select cool colors and light fabrics. Khaki is king for comfort and it mirrors the golden sand so nicely!

4. Color block
Cruise ship weddings usually have a few special guests; Why not have everyone color coordinate in white or any other color you desire. Everyone feels honored to be a part of the bridal party and the look makes for stunning photo images.

5. Taste of Jamaica
Try some of the local cuisine every chance you get. A post-ceremony cocktail, wedding cake or even some sweet treats are great ways to taste the unique Jamaican approach to food. When a taste isn’t enough, a gift basket is a perfect memento to take with you for the trip home.
